Linda Riethmiller

Linda Riethmiller is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S) in Ohio and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania. She earned her master’s in social work from the University of Pittsburgh. She earned her master’s in health education from Pennsylvania State University. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University in Biology with a minor in Psychology. Linda is a member of the National Association for Social Workers (NASW) and The American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). Linda is currently taking classes at Greater Works Bible School in Monroeville, PA.
Linda’s experience has involved her working the past three years as a Clinical Christian Therapist and over nine years of clinical experience working as an outpatient therapist in a community mental health setting. She has provided individual counseling to children, teenagers, adults, and senior citizens. In addition, she has provided counseling to students in the public school setting K-12 and has twenty years of experience working with children in the community as a children’s case manager.
Linda specializes in counseling for children, teenagers, adults, senior citizens, and families who have a child experiencing mental health issues. Linda uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), client-centered, solution-focused treatment, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma. Additional areas of concentration include depression, anxiety, superficial cutting, mood issues, grief and loss, adjustment disorders, trauma, relationship issues, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and impulse control. For Children- Play therapy is used to help the client engage and progress in the therapy process.
