Kara Hunt is an Independently Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She received her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University in 2013. She has nearly 10 years of experience working in the Mental Health field. She worked with children and adolescents in a residential facility that focused on treating victims of abuse and trauma for her first two years in the field. Kara continues to work with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety and panic disorder, anger management, adjustment disorders (e.g. divorce, becoming a parent, retirement), mood disorders including depression and bipolar disorder, couples counseling, eating disorders, ADHD, etc. She has experience with people struggling with chronic mental and emotional disorders. Kara employs a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused. Kara is available in our Howland, Ohio Office.
