Kaitlyn is a Licensed Social Worker who earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work from Youngstown State University, where she was a collegiate Track and Field athlete. Kaitlyn holds a deep passion for mental health, with the belief that healing is not a destination, but a journey. Through empathetic listening and evidence-based practices, Kaitlyn creates a safe space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions without judgment. Her dedication and approach empower clients to embrace their strengths, navigate life’s challenges, and provide themselves with understanding as they make this journey. Kaitlyn has experience working in the Department of Corrections and with individuals of all ages who struggle with depression, anxiety, confidence, life adjustment, BPD, marital concerns, and lowered sports performance. With a combination of compassion, empathy, and therapeutic challenging, Kaitlyn strives to meet the clients where they are as they work towards their therapeutic goals. Her approach is tailored to the client’s specific needs, with experience utilizing Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused Therapy. Kaitlyn is available in our Howland, Ohio office.
